When you travel by air, you encounter strict security control. By means of electronic detection equipment together with manual checking, passengers, their hand luggage and hold baggage are checked for the presence of objects or chemical materials that could pose a danger for passengers, crew or the safety of the aircraft.

There are certain souvenirs and presents, which you may not import from foreign countries into the Netherlands in unlimited quantities.
