For a tailor-made flight, taken care of down to the last detail, companies or private individuals may opt to hire their own aircraft, for example for a congress visit, a company presentation, an employees outing or a wedding in a foreign country. Depending on the destination, the capacity and the crew of the aircraft, this is sometimes a cheaper option than a group-booking on aregular scheduled flight. There are many advantages of chartering an aircraft, such as being able to arrange your own flight schedule, to call at several destinations if so desired without any unnecessary delays, and to continue proceedings within the aircraft. An aircraft can also be hired for the transportation of confidential items or valuable goods.

Your personal wishes as regards destination, departure and arrival times, the route taken, the type of aircraft and possible stop-off points, will be arranged in consultation with the airline company or broker. Arrangements can also be made with respect to other aspects for the time before, during and after the flight, such as meals you would like to be served, the option of having your company logo displayed on the headrest-covers in the aircraft, and reserving a lounge or reception area at the airport. Alternatively, you may choose to have everything for your private flight arranged for you by the KLM Jet Center.
